Taylormade R11 Irons specs

Technology and Construction

The Taylormade R11 Irons are cast, but that should come as no surprise given the technology behind the irons.
Anyone familiar with TaylorMade will find some of the usual technology enhancements; Inverted Cone Technology to expand the sweet spot, a Precision Weight Port to optimize the center of gravity, a thin unsupported face for higher COR and faster ball speeds and  a multi functional sole that helps in a variety of different lies.
The weight port makes perfect sense. Most irons are swingweighted by placing weight in the hosel of the club. The added weight moves the center of gravity ever so slightly to the heel end of the club.
The sole design while not exactly blade-like is narrower than you’d expect and with less camber; the trailing edge is beveled to give players some overall relief in dicey lies yet make it more playable overall.
